Editable Replays (Adobe Character Animator Tutorial)

New in Character Animator 2023 (v23.6)! Replays have always been one of the best ways to get a set of prepackaged animations ready to trigger for your characters, but updating them has always been near impossible. That changes today with the new "Edit Replay" option. Simply right click any replay and you can immediately edit it in a temporary scene & timeline. Save your changes and the Replay updates with any new recordings or edits you've made. If you're like me and use Replays for everything from eyebrows to arm movements, this is going to save you a ton of time!

I need to get back into Character Animator. Is there an update for animal movements like if you want to make a snake puppet and have it slither about, or if you make a creature that has more.than 4 limbs?

great for live performances etc but I would love to see the ability to drag a replay into the timeline instead of having to hit record then use the keyboard trigger to record the replay....Dragging an already recorded replay into the timeline would be a huge time saver.

Hello Dave, I appreciate this update.
However I have one question about something I've been struggling with for a long time now, I also have many keyframed transform replays. How do you have them smoothly transition back after triggering them like you do at 5:53?
When I release the triggers my transform replays all just instantly snap back jarringly not smoothly like yours.

Hi Dave, Im trying to adapt Chloe from a copy but I seem to have lost the replays. The artwork is there and they are in the triggers but they don't show up in the Replays column on the right. Is there a way to relink them? Thanks for your great help.

Hey Dave :) Sorry I'm asking here, but don't know where to ask... Can you and your team add just another "Sticky" character in the "Animate From Audio" program from Adobe Express.
I wish there was a female character to complete the Sticky character. Just a simple "Sticky" character but with pink shirt and a long hair and that's it :D Thanks!
