It’s not fun if you have a Logitech wheel and it constantly looses all FFB and sometimes just recalibrates itself and becomes ultra sensitive to movement (and looses FFB)

They are, or they don’t get it

they’ve essentially made the physics easier, particularly for controller

If you used cockpit on controller it was incredibly difficult to be precise in the old game

Yes they compromised some physics, but the game is 1000% better as a result, f1 YouTubers don’t get this because they’re only looking from a perspective of having a full sim rig

The multiplayer racing should improve greatly because of this, and hopefully more people use cockpit (because t cam racing isn’t real and doesn’t require much skill)

F1 24 is actually a very good game(other than handling) bc they actually added(or readded) a lot of things like contract, 3 diff rivalries, session tasks, playing season as real f1 drivers, and there are many more new features!(i just don't like the handling)

Tested the Beta, but it was just F1 23. And the fact that F1 23 has more content, is enough for me to skip F1 24 and stay with F1 23

I literally have been pondering this… cancel culture at its finest again…. I’ve got 50 hours into it and F1 24 is the best game they have released. I’m on the Fanatec DD Pro and it feels incredible for once… handling is exceptional.

They are a bit mad. The game is a 7 out of 10 for me. It’s fun but has a few bugs and things that need to be ironed out.

I feel like the reason people are very harsh on the game is because its overpriced. If it was an update to the previous title people probably wouldn’t be this critical of it, but the game is mostly the same from what i’ve heard. But its ea so its to be expected.

The only problem is handling. If you were very competitive in F1 23, then it takes time to adjust to this game. In my experience not using traction control or ABS it feels like there is no feeling in the butt of the car. Rather than using feel and instinct to not loop out on the throttle, each corner has like essentially a predetermined amount of acceptable throttle. Feels more like a game and less of a simulator
