Thank you for this. It’s an excellent tool. I came out of a church that only taught cherry picked bible verses about how loving Jesus is and how you can be like Jesus by doing good works via loving other people. They were so light on the gospel I’m trying to recall if they even teach it.
I praise God for opening my eyes that I was in an unbiblical church. It was through study of His word I realized I was being fed a diet of cotton candy not biblical truth.

God's timing is always right - I read Revelation 3 this morning! "So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth." (Rev. 3:16)
It seems so tempting to give only SOME of our life to Christ, to only trust him with PART of your day, month, year, only lean on him when troubles are rushing towards you.
Give. God. Everything. All that we have is already His.

I have people in my life I'd consider lukewarm at best. they claim salvation through Jesus. I don't want to judge but encourage them but it seems impossible. Great message, I pray im never again lukewarm (I was for many years)!

We’re only saved by grace and faith alone not by works that we do to earn or keep us saved lukewarm means that you don’t feel like a wretched sinner and not poor spiritually and in need of a savior this is talking about pridefulness of unbelievers not loss of salvation.

The church is not a building. A church can be a group of people together, worshipping god doesn't have to be a building. If two or more gather God is there Matthew 18:20

This is not about salvation, it's about a lukewarm church. not an individual who is backslidden, a luke warm church is useless., Jesus is reproving that church for being luke warm
Stop trusting in your work ; and start trusting in "Jesus's work" on the cross

Help the parts of me that are to prideful to pick up truth freedom in Christ and the parts of me that desire to hear You but are to lazy to get up and HEAR You… God I need you ..
