I would like to propose you 2 more skills :
- know your environment. Know the place you live in, know the nature that surrounds you, understand how you can benefit from things and people that are close to you : things you can eat, things that can heal you. Know the tracks, the places. Meet your neighbors. Create relations, talk, introduce you, tell people that you can help. And others will offer help too. There are some treasures close to you, sometimes many, even next to your feets

- gardening, fishing, hunting : to be less dependent, you don't just need to know cooking, you might need to produce vegetables, fruits, grow or catch your own food. It's not possible for everyone, but when it's possible, it's a good skill to have I think. And you can eat so many more healthy products


I see how you take care of the people that follow you here on YouTube. I'm pretty sure you've been a good officer in the marines corp. Someone people are willing to follow and support

This video broaches a hard hitting topic, which is stings a bit more because of the personal ask of the viewer to perform an honest self-assessment and act on the insight gleaned. However, by using the concept of "awareness" to frame the topic, the video is more palatable and therefore able to deliver value to any viewer regardless of knowledge / life experience.
