Spirit Airlines Review: Is it Really THAT BAD?

If you're like me, you're a sucker for a low fare! Spirit's prices are consistently good and you do get what you pay for. So, just how bad or not so bad is Spirit? This is my take, please share your experience in the comments.

Rolling the dice with Spirit for the first time. Had an unexpected death in the family, needed to get my wife a same day flight yesterday. A non-stop mid tier ticket with the extra charge for picking the seat was only $180. Any other flight would have been at least double. Our 2 other round trip tickets (same upcharges, next day flight) was under $600 out the door. For no layovers, youll never beat the price for last minute tickets, and I cant think of the last time I had a comfortable plane seat lol. I always bring my own drink/snack anyway, so I'm ok with a 3 hour uncomfortable flight for the $$.

what about connecting flights, are they reliable? i notice some have 40 minute connection, short amount of time

OK, you KNOW what you're getting when you buy a ticket flying on Spirit, Frontier, and Allegiant. IDGaF if you have to pay for junk on the flight. Look, go to Walmart the night before and buy some snacks. I flew on Frontier and American. The seats were slightly nicer on American, but I got from point A to point B for less $$$$ and that's what I'm paying for. America and these YT content creators need to STOP your B-ING! If you don't like Spirit then BUY another plane ticket on another carrier. Spend that money, because in the end, for a 3 to 4hr flight, it's going to be loud, cramped, and boring UNLESS you are flying 1st Class and I don't wanna spend that money. The experience IS NOT in the air, the experience is where you're going!
