I wish I could go back in time and watch this show for the very first time

15 years after the release of the pilot episode I still don't think any other show has come close to having so many iconic elements. I can look up and see a plane flying overhead and think of Lost, or be at the grocery store and see a mango, and i'm right back there on the beach with all the survivors. I still remember every season, every story arc, every character's full name, the names of many of the episodes, the music, it all just stayed with me. I can't say that about any other show before or since. Such an incredible piece of work.

It's crazy, throughout the whole show Jack didn't believe in anything and he never believed Locke which drove Jack to have hatred for Locke . Until Locke dies and Jack becomes the ultimate believer and literally gives his life for the island.

Lost has done things to me that no other show has to this day. Yeah, there are many impactful shows these days but this one, it just stays with you.

I watched a few episodes of the final season in 2010. I couldn't watch the last episodes due to my exams and getting a new job. I never opened it to look at the ending in case may be I will watch it. And the year is 2023. I convinced my wife and watched it again in a last few months. Really, it took me back 13 years ago. The unfinished pain has come to an end. For years I remembered Jack's words, "We have to go back." And I went go back. So many years have passed. I have children, my happiness and pain. I went back to my past to complete what was left unfinished. But I never expected it to end so painfully. My youth is lost! but I realized now. I've been listening to this music for days, hoping I might find it again. But actually it's already lost...

This show taught me that you *_have_* to work through your demons no matter how hard you think it is. And that family is important, and you should always fight for what you believe is right and true in your heart. It also taught me about [blind] faith in a way... It taught me that faith is important to have. That even when you don't know that things will work out fine, you must always believe.

I've watched Lost for years. In January of this year, I woke up and found my Mother dead. 1 week later a best friend died. 2 weeks later my Grandfather passed, few days later my Grandmother went. I tried ending my life, and failed. I spent 6 days in the Mental Ward of the hospital because losing so many people...broke me. While I was there, my dog passed away too (she was 16). I'm doing better now, but when I think back on the days I was dealing with grief, this song always plays in my head.

this song makes me realize it’s ok to live.. and it’s also ok to die. life knows nothing else, the stardust we’re all made of will transcend until everything we’ve come to know goes dark once again. glad all of us found this beauty of a song and had the experience with lost that we did, we’re truly the lucky ones.
