Taiwan is just a province of China, China has the right to defend itself

I think it is necessary to call a spade a spade. The market knows China is going to invade, Chinese equities have sold off about 40% in the last year. China has refused to repay usd denominated debt due in 2023. Real estate prices are going down.
The market always knows.
What bothers me more than anything is the laissez faire attitude of the Taiwanese people.
No one wants to fight for their freedom. The government is just now starting to fund the military. Taiwan has completely tied itself to the Chinese economy. Taiwan has allowed Chinese infiltration into its media.
And Taiwan thinks American soldiers will die for them?
No. You make you bed. You lie in it. You fight for your freedom you will have the entire force of the USA with you.
But you can’t have both. China or democracy. Your choice. We don’t care. You should.
