About engine version. For instance, in my serhioromano.vscode-gitflow extension I use latest version because I want to use Quick Pick groups, thank you Tyler.

1. Will those who have a lower version of VS Code see my extension in a search?
2. If I have a lower version with lower engine version published in marketplace, will users with lower VS Code version be able to install those versions not latest?

My question how much I lower my audience by releasing new version with engine of latest VS Code?

I feel like maybe there’s an error at 38:01 to anyone who is following this tutorial. Let me explain

Knowing that the result is incremented by 1, and that no index found returns -1. Therefore, checking that no index was found should check against 0 and not -1

This hour long video could've been raiser to digest if it was a well put together blogpost.

Hello, I landed here because I am dying to know how I could create a Visual Studio Extension that does the same as the mother ship Visual Studio when programming in C++ :
CTRL-dot on a function member to implement it in the src (.cpp) file or inline. I already did something similar back on old days for KDevelop 2.x. I created an interactive GUI DLG that did exactly what I wanted even on static attr members ( recall that constexpr did not exist yet).

Just my thoughts. Thank you for your kind sharing.
