In my humble opinion, I would say that if you've ever achieved breeding Amano shrimps, then you've really made it in the hobby.

You have single handedly destroyed algae problems in aquariums across planet Earth. An amazing contribution.

Three weeks ago, one of my amano shrimp berried. Panicking, I search through the internet to learn as much as I can about them. That's when I found your video. I've learn so much in such a short period of time, allowing me to hunt down what I need and set up the spawn tank and salt water tank. My first spawn is now 4 days old, and 2 more batch of eggs incoming. Hopefully it goes well and they grow up healthy. Thank you.

Where are you???? 7 months since last video. Please keep going! I'm an environmental science teacher and enjoy your enthusiasm and excellent teaching method. You do a great job! My Bachelors degree is in biology with emphasis in zoology and I'm learning how to breed aquatic organisms. Please post some more.

We truly stand on the shoulders of giants. You make this look so easy and so far, because of your videos, it’s been pretty easy for me to. So thank you so much for this contribution!

I got 4 amano shrimp two years ago an they're all still doing great. Two males and two females, who I see berried all the time. I've even caught them dropping their eggs twice. I didn't realize they hatch right away, I thought they needed salt to hatch at all. Very informative, and it looks like the salt reader is the only piece of actual equipment I'd be missing if I wanted to try breeding.

These videos have really helped me out! I have my fourth batch and finally got them to fresh water! Three failed batches, but slightly changed the set up each time according to recommendations you talked about. I’m still slowly moving new morphed shrimplets, but the first to be moved are nearly a week old and thriving. Very excited! My conclusion: you aren’t doing the hobby right if visitors aren’t questioning you about possibly having some kind of illegal lab set up. I have bubbling green, glowing bottles (plankton), oddly placed lights, many small storage cups, pipets, bubbling bottles with odd specs (rotifers) and all the tubing running across the room 😂 it has been quite the journey.

This was so much work I don't know if I'm ready to breed these shrimp lol.

Orson Welles Clap 👏. Bravo. You sir are a scholar and a gentleman. This is one of the better videos I’ve ever seen on Amano’s. I agree and truly believe green water is the key to successful high quality aquaculture. 👍🏻

Absolutely wonderful 🥰 I have watched all episodes about Amano shrimp breeding, but this one is like most compact and it's containing some info new info about schrimps... Few schrimps survived the last hatch... After more then 30 days they didn't transformed yet... But now I think I know why. Thanks man, I will try it all over again until I will succeed.

grat video
I've managed to get few to morph back in 2018 and trying to repeat the process now with 5 batches
ps. good advise on transferring females after 4 weeks to separate containers, morphed shrimp colour and rotifers 👍

Beautiful work!! I love how easy you make it look. I love how you can force the berried mamas to drop their young by mimicking a rushing river. Yeah, I think I'll make room for a setup. Not sure how how I'll get live phytoplankton. That looks like the hardest part.

Having a video on this subject that I can understand easily makes me so happy, because I’ve been wanting to breed Amanos myself. Wish me luck!

I watched your long version presentation and started to breed the amano shrimp. It is very helpful! But I lost my first batch because of bacteria attack around day 10. Now I’m trying my second time with a new batch, I am now using a salt water tank with better filter system with cloth on the inflow to prevent them being sucked to the filter. Hope this time will be better!
