It was a beautiful thing to see players of all clubs honor Kobe, but when you have FANS of opposing (and some RIVAL) teams chanting his name....THAT my friends is respect. Respect not only for his world-class talent, but as such a genuine, beautiful human being. I am not ashamed to say this 52 year old man was in tears throughout.

R.I.P. Mamba, your daughter, and everyone we tragically lost in that crash.

Here I am three years later watching this again. This shows just how iconic of a man and competitive player Kobe was.. that everyone felt was necessary to honor him like this! I still remember exactly where I was at when it all happened. I was at work and when I got the notification on my phone I had to leave cuz I broke down like a close family member jus passed..
