- Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has filed a lawsuit against the CDC in the hopes of allowing the US to cruise again. The lawsuit calls for the US to open to cruising immediately.
- Royal Caribbean cruise ship Serenade of The Seas has arrived in St Vincent to help evacuate residents after a volcanic eruption. Carnival Legend, Carnival Paradise, and Celebrity Reflection also sailed to St Vincent to help evacuate residents.
- Virgin Voyages have cancelled sailing until the 17th of September. Scarlet Lady will be sailing from the UK this summer.
- Seabourn will start 7-day sailings from Athens on board the Seabourn Ovation from July 3rd. Guests must be fully vaccinated. Guests will be able to book two back-to-back sailings to create a 14-day voyage if they want to. Many other cruise lines are no longer allowing back-to-back voyages.
- Viking will start sailing from Bermuda and Iceland in June. Cruises will be 8 nights in length.
- Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line will restart sailing in July with cruises sailing from the Bahamas. Cruises will take place on the Grand Classica ship and are already on sale.
