daniel & maura (1899) | running back, running back

I am late to the party but wow this show was incredible. All of the characters were unique and amazing and the use of different languages was so immersive. I can't believe I watched it not realizing there wouldn't be any more seasons!! I have so many questions!!

First of all, I really loved Maura's bond with Eyk and how much they relied on each other. But when Daniel's reveal came--oh man, you could feel his love for Maura. It was so tragic the way he was so devoted to saving her. I think Eyk is someone important to her in the present because of the way they were drawn to each other even as strangers (likely in every loop), and I believe what Daniel said about his past with Maura is true (though we didn't get the full story). So many unanswered questions remain about everything that happened in between these timelines :(

I was inspired to edit this pair because of this beautiful and haunting song, Running Away Out Of The Window by Muco (linked below). Finding the right song is what motivates me to edit so I am continually thankful whenever I still get these moments of inspiration (also thanks to my sis for showing me this song!)

What a fantastic edit! I love all the glitches you put in--very fitting ☺️ I've been absolutely obsessed with 1899 from from the time it premiered and am still in mourning for it 😢 It's great to see fan art and edits being made even after the (incredibly stupid) cancellation. (PS: I also agree with everything you said about Daniel in the description. He's my favorite character in the show.)

WOW THIS EDIT WAS AMAZING!!!! i actually dropped this show about 3 or so eps in, things were getting more complicated without answers for me so i lost interest but dang, this edit was just so fantastic i might have to go back to it. it was so beautifully done, i love the song, the coloring, your sequence just for everything was top notch!
