This video illustrates the difference in braking distance between an All-Season, All-Weather and Winter tire in icy winter conditions. A great reminder that what you're rolling on absolutely matters.

This is perfect, thank you.

I own Hakkapeliitta R3 tires, but this winter, we got hit with some surprise, early snow when it was 34 F by day and 20 F at night. By morning, we had icy roads but I hadn't swapped my winter tires yet because snow wasn't expected for a few more weeks.

I've thought about getting all-weather tires to replace my all-seasons just in case this ever happens again, before I've had a chance to install my Hakkas.

So this video is exactly what I needed. Thank you!

Where is the studded tire? And where is the ABS Switched OFF... We seen in test here in Canada. That ABS increases distances on wet, slush and snow covered roads. Yet switch off ABS and traction control and you shorten the distance's to stop with Soft braking taught techniques like years ago. That little pile of snow actually helps with grip when stopping.
