When Randy Johnson retired he received a replica drum set used by the "Professor " Neil Peart. It was uncovered at the stadium.

Great looking cards! I bought 8 packs of 1996 Upper Deck Series 2 on eBay just on a whim (I think it was the price) and I was pleasantly surprised by how they looked as I opened them slowly watching Sunday afternoon baseball! Love this video, as I love ALL of your videos Erik. Your commentary and baseball card knowledge is incomparable, I’m only glad you are not an baseball announcer because we get to enjoy you all to ourselves on YouTube! Stay safe my friend and God bless you sir!

I quit collecting in ‘89. Then picked back up w my son in the early 2000’s so these, while not very valuable, are fun for me. I missed all these. Thx EJ

I wish Jim Abbott would get in the Hall of Fame. For at least what he did. I don't think too many people could do what he did. He even had a no-hitter.

Upper Deck was 🔥 I wish they still had ⚾️ licensing? Those Run Producers inserts 💪 and yes that Jeter card is a PC Card for most. On a side note I’ll take all your Roberto Alomar cards if available 😍🇵🇷

Never heard Tracsel called the “Human Rain Delay”.He used to drive me nuts when he would pitch for the Orioles.Dude took FOREVER in between pitches. He never would have lasted in the pitch clock era.Randy Johnson is a great photographer.Lots of great photos taken by him of my favorite band Rush.

I collected a set of 1999 or 2000 topps and they had a promotion very similar to the predictor card insert. If you got the insert card of a player and that player was player of the week, you mailed the card in and got a 26 card set of ALL the players of the week for that season. The 26 card set was different than the insert card, they were all gold cards and they were "in action" cards. Very cool. The card I mailed in was Barry Bonds. I wanted the card back but they (Topps) do not return those inserts. Pretty cool I thought and I still have that 26 card set in the original case and condition as they sent them. I believe they were wrapped in cellophane, then placed in the case. I did unwrap the cellophane though.

Look at the photo used on the Randy Johnson VJ Lovero card (7:52), and then look up the 2019 Topps Randy SP. You can tell the photo on the 2019 Topps came from this same photo shoot. I am guessing it happened in '95 or '96.

Those are honestly some of the nicest cards I've ever seen! Why are they so low priced?

How did the retail predictor of "long shot" work? Who classified as a long shot to win?

Hey I had this box, because Cal Ripken was my favorite player.
