Laia came to our center on the recommendation of her dentist presenting severe Class III, maxillary hypoplasia and mandibular hyperplasia, as well as open cross bite.

Once her orthodontic preparation was finished, Prof. Hernandez Alfaro performed bimaxillary surgery with a condylectomy on the right side, since her condyle had grown excessively on that side, causing facial asymmetry. Now Laia feels much more confident in herself and her chewing function has improved enormously.

If there is lack of upper tooth show, then does moving the maxilla forward increase the tooth show, or would the maxilla need lowering to increase how much if the upper teeth are seen when smiling?

What would you do if the hypoplasia extends till the infraorbital rims ? Won't lefort 1 enhance the negetive vector of the orbitals?
