WOW! What a difference in the amount of product used!! You never have to use that with your Dinair! It is nice that they offer one that dries faster and is closer to water based in it's texture and feel . I know most ALL liquid foundations you might buy are a mix of silicone and water and they vary in coverage.. Maybe it is the same with this?? Also, I am sure the fact that the Temptu machine is more powerful and sprays faster and more forcefully might make it a little different to apply. PERSONALLY, I think I would just BRUSH this one on! LOL!!

Hi I’m a makeup artist and I just ordered the 2.0 Kit that comes with the S/B foundation. I also ordered the complete hydra lock 24 bottles I believe. I’d like to know if the hydra lock works with the 2.0 system as well. Also does it come with the gun or does it come with the AirPod gun?

I tried this as well but did not do a video because I didn't buy a range of color - and because it's not offered in a full line that you can do the full look without mixing it with their Aqua line or SB line. I have the Temptu Air as well as the Temptu Air standard airbrush gun, but got the POD to try. I like this line better than their standard silicone makeup....it's lighter and drys quicker but no means does it come close to Dinair's airbrush makeup. I just haven't found one I like H&K's K!

I have to be honest, I find "first impression" videos can be easily biased and unbalanced. Every product has its learning curve, and I don't think it's very fair to compare a new, untried product to something we have been using for years. While Hydralock is very similar to water based products for its texture and drying speed, it needs to be layered in smooth, light passes rather than fast circles. Spot correction is best done before layering the base, and in steps: zoom lightly in on the blemish but don't try to cover it in one move, rather move to the other blemishes and then come back to achieve more coverage. That way you won't get hot spots, and the final layering of the base will blend everything together. Being of a lighter texture, it is true that you will need more drops of this product, but if applied correctly it shouldn't be 3 times the water base quantity. The Airpod blushes and Highlighters have now switched to Perfect Canvas, and there is a line of Airshadow too called Earth Stone collection. I hope you will give this product a daily use run, and ask Temptu for guidance if you need it. I have found this product perfectly valid, after taking time to learn it (as I had to do with any and all airbrush products :) ) xoxox
