Limits Calculator Technique

Calculator technique for evaluating Limits ( Differential Calculus) using Casio 991 es/570 es.

To evaluate a limit as x approaches a certain value "a", substitute a number to "a" that is very close to "a".
For example: x approaches 1, let x= 0.99999 or 1.0001 ; x approaches 2, let x=1.9999 or 2.0001; x approaches 0, let x=0.0001; x approaches infinity, let x= 999999

IMPORTANT: Set the calculator to radian mode (Shift-Mode-Rad) for limits involving trigonometric functions.

If you're wondering why it's not working for you, remember to put the calculator on Radian mode. Calculus is done on radian mode.

guys if youre getting weird numbers just use for example x is approaching 3, put it if x approaching 7 then so on

If the numerator and denominator have the same degree of polynomial you can just ignore the other terms and divide the coefficient of the highest degree

I don't get it why're you getting random numbers on pressing equal button? and on what basis did you enter the numbers after getting strange result and got accurate ones?

I tried doing it for 5^(x+1)+ 7^(x+1) /(5^x-7^x) where the limit is infinity but calculator shows error. Why? (I did set it to radian mode)
