I bought this helmet for $370 in White/Red/Blue which perfectly matches with my White Panigale. The best part about this helmet is that it has sun visor which is extremely helpful for me while driving most of the time.
Additionally, the flip up option ensure that I have maximum fun when I have to drive in the city with heavy traffic.
This helmet has been a very good experience.

Figuring out how to take it apart was easy. Why don't any of the reviewers ever show how to put it back together so IT LINES UP PROPERLY DAMMIT!Other than that, it's a great review & I actually love my GT3000, after 30 years of half-shells.

Fijn dat ik jouw review tegen gekomen ben .Ik was opzoek naar een lichtere helm dan de exo 950 welke ook heerlijk is met alle weer omstandigheden en een van de weinige die ook een grote maat hebben ( 65CM) xxxl. en toch een mooi model.Dit is verre weg de review die werkelijk alle informatie weer geeft.Ik woon in Apeldoorn NL Op de weg zomer en winter je ziet bij ons de scorpion helm bijna niet ...onbegrijpelijk.Thumps Up

Currently using an HJC Symax II. I find it very comfortable in an XL. I had a Scorpion full face before that (not modular) and liked its fit as well (felt as comfortable as an Arai that I had in the past).
That being said I'm now looking for a new lightweight/comfortable modular that is quiet and good cooling/airflow. I was thinking maybe the HJC RPHA-Max until I came across the newer? and less $$ GT3000.
Pluses and minuses of each please and recommendation

I have this helmet and I love it.

I'm trying to figure out how to mount a Sena 20S onto it. The control on the left side for the sun visor is in the way and the Sena boom mikes are not long enough, if I mount the 20S behind the sun visor slide control.

Nice video, guys. This looks to be a really nice step up from Scorpion. A way better lid than the RPHA Max, which I tried and found it to be a piece of crap. First things first, It looks like they got the Sun visor right. I had a EXO-1000 and the Sun visor just didn't have the coverage. So nice to see that improvement! And the shell shape looks like it will actually fit better than the Neotec I currently have. Sure would be nice to see them offer a pinlock shield, though. You just can't beat a pinlock. Any idea if there will be graphics offered at some point? Thanks!

You keep saying the fit of the American market is a narrower, longer shape. I have a round head and am currently in a Scorpion EXO 500 3X. What can I get in a rounder modular?

Anyone know how it fits compared to a Shoei Neotec? My Neotec is 5 years old now and due for replacement but the half price compared to the Neotec. I think the Neotec fits teh same head shape as the GT3k.

I’ve heard by someone who wore it that it’s awful, iit has a edge across your forehead that’s uncomfortable and with this strap it’s hard too get on and off and the pump system barely works, he didn’t rate it .

I just rode around 2000 miles with this helmet. I hate to admit it but this helmet is like riding with your window down in a car, extremely noisy. The helmet comfort wise was okay, face shield was okay, sun visor okay. If I has to do over again I would go with a different brand. Too noisy for me.
