2025 Prototype Sneak Peek!!! Marla Amps S40 5881

Warning: this was recorded with an old iPhone. Not a great sound example.
Hello! This is something that's getting finalized for a Second Quarter 2025 release. One thing I always need is a musician to give me anecdotal feedback on my builds (my hearing sucks after years of full stacks and no ear plugs. haha). I got to meet a cool guy and his wife up north that has been giving me some useful notes. He's is a bit of a builder himself! Excited to hear his thoughts and opinions on this amp so I can finalize a few spec's before releasing it out into the wild!!!
The S40 - 5881 is my take on Small Tweed amps in a much louder, higher wattage, and usable format. This is a flip on the S20V, which is my take on Large Tweed amps in a low watt package. The S40V will show you new ways to shape your tone and create your signature sound!
This amp shipped with 6L6 tubes because I was out of new 5881s. haha. So there's a lil extra headroom and bass in this build.
38-44 Watts (5881/6L6)
12" Mojotone Greyhound
V1 Bias
CH1 Vol / Channel Jump
CH2 Vol / Negative Feedback Loop (Changing to Fat Switch)
Ch2 Tone Control / CH1 Tone Cut
