Hope the girl is alright nothing too serious, this kind of news is a nightmare for parents. I think there should be mandatory fencing around any crossroads near a school. My daughter goes to Palm Springs Middle, and even with so many cross guards and school teachers kids still manage to jaywalk when they are suppose to use zebra crossing. I have seen so many parents do that too so I can't even blame the kids they do what they see their elders do. I don't know who's fault it is in this particular incident but we as parents should teach the kids to never jaywalk and as elders it's our duty to slow down in school zones, if you were to hit and hurt a child you would never be able to forgive yourself.
