JICS seeks to reduce overcrowding in SA prisons

The JICS is looking at a bail funds system similar to that of the US in a bid to reduce overcrowding in the country’s prisons. There are almost 2,000 prisoners in South Africa's jails who can’t afford bail of less than R1,000. Justice Edwin Cameron elaborates.

For me politicians their salaries must be cut and given to single mothers and grandma's many of these are abandoned or come from very poorest homes plus school life over children got nothing to do idleness not good for young minds
