As many of you may know, Hitler was a fan of American industrialist Henry Ford and even mentioned him in his infamous book, "Mein Kampf." He went as far as to keep a portrait of Ford on his desk and awarded him the Grand Cross of the German Eagle, the highest honor given to foreigners by the Nazi regime.

But what did Hitler receive in return for this praise? The Ford Motor Company's German plants used slave labor during World War II and supplied military equipment to the Nazi war effort. In fact, some American managers at these German plants even agreed to produce military equipment for the Nazi regime, while similar requests by the U.S. government to Ford's factories in America were declined.

Furthermore, evidence suggests that American Ford received funds from German Ford, up to $60,000 per year from 1940-43. This financial support further links the actions of the German wing of the company to the parent company in the United States.

It's also worth noting that Henry Ford was known for his anti-Semitism and published articles with anti-Semitic views in his newspaper, the "Dearborn Independent."
