Yassmin Abdel-Magied has 'committed the sin' of 'victim activism'

The Spectator Australia columnist Alexandra Marshall says activist and writer Yassmin Abdel-Magied has "committed the cardinal sin of victim activism".

Ms Marshall revealed in The Spectator that Ms Abdel-Magied, while in Britain, tweeted, 'There are union jacks everywhere ... it’s like a waking nightmare'.

The "Western world" really needs to reconsider our welcoming immigration policies. My grandparents came to the US because they wanted to be Americans and start a new life. They learned English and left their old life behind. I don't understand why you would move to a country and then start to bash its history, culture etc. If you don't like it then feel free to leave.

I am sure her Dad was glad to get out of Sudan and settle in such a tolerant and welcoming place as Australia. The issue with a lot of left wing activists is that they think everyone must please them. And they forget the basic rule of society.

And that is, you have a discussion, people either agree or disagree, and that's where things are left.
