4x4 Rubik's Cube CAGE METHOD How to for beginners

NO PARITY!! NO SUPER LONG ALGORITHMS! Yes! I am a total nerd!! You don't need to know how to solve the 3x3 in order to do this. This is an in-depth tutorial on how to do the 4x4 cage method from start to finish. UPDATE:
A youtuber, Ian McMillan posted what he believes are the algorithms for these moves. Here is what he sent:

Fantastic video I now can do the 4x4 thanks to you. I now also have a 5x5 and have found that your 4x4 method almost gets the job done but I am having problems with the final centre piece swaps.
Any chance you can do a video on the 5x5 cage method?

Hey, sorry I missed this question... I don't get email notifications on these comments. Have you figured it out? I would try to find the exact model of cube you have, and google image it to see if you can find pictures of it solved, so you know what to look for, maybe? Lots of different colors of cubes out there.

For the yellow center I use conjugates and it still works 😁

what if you have all 4 yellow corners in the right place but two are oriented correctly?

And you should get a sheng shou 4x4 because it's easier to turn

so i made all the centers but blue is not the opposite of green its the opp of orange please help

Here are the algorithms for this method, in standard notation. I have tested all of them and they SHOULD work, but if they don't, I can't really help you. The upper case letters stand for the outer layers and the lowercase letters are the inner layers. The lowercase M means BOTH middle layers at once. Hope these help!
