Sticking with my 2018. But if I was in the market for a new bike, the 2021 Goldwing DCT would remain top of my list.

Glad they are listening to the customer! I'm happy with my '19 as it is. But I understand the complaints as well. Hopefully, this will win them more devotees!

In my opinion, the Gold Wing has been the best touring bike since the early 80s. The only other touring bike to possibly consider would be the BMW. I like the new 2021 upgrades. It's nice that the XM antenna will now be standard rather than an add-on accessory.

100% AmerS! The Gold Wing, arguably, is the best Touring motorcycle. The 2021 with it’s new colors and enhancements looks amazing. Honda hit another home run with it’s next generation Gold Wings starting with it’s totally redesigned 2018 models. The new offering like the 19 and 20 models s merely another touch of refinements as the iconic model evolves. From what I see I like the enlarged Top Trunk. It still maintains the angular contoured shape of the 18-20 just a bit larger. IMHO, it gives the back of the bike a bit more fullness to the eye, but continues a very good look. I’ll know best once I see the bike in person. But from what I see I like it a lot. In the process of enlarging the Top trunk Honda also addressed the passenger seating position on the bike. Giving it a slight rearward lean angle, then enlarged the back rest area, saddle padding density while giving it a materials re-surface topside to hopefully improve rider and passenger experiences. We’ll see. Regarding new colors. Totally agree on the metallic black on black. I think in the sun should look real nice. The Gold Wing (Bagger model) also looks fantastic. I wouldn’t have minded the Touring model to have received a similar color treatment. The carry over of the Candy Argent red and black two tone with silver undercarriage continues and is a good look. In terms of aero dynamics and increased fuel consumption created by drag of the enlarged Top trunk, as I mentioned on GbeWingingit’s channel, Honda should be no stranger to considering Drag Co-efficiency in their designing. They have a proven performance history of building championship/competition winning Formula One cars, Moto GP bikes and a it’s $230 million design and manufacturing facility in North Carolina building private aircraft as further proof of it’s capabilities to build performance into it’s products. And from a safety perspective, I would fully expect, hope and pray they did either wind tunnel, track or highway testing to confirm a safe Top trunk design. Again this too we’ shall soon find out from our own test rides and reviewer input. As always great content AmerS. Thank you! Ya’ll ride safe and ride often. Peace.

It's the same junk GPS in the 2021 model. Having said that, if I did not already own a redesigned Goldwing (I have the 2018 model), then the beautiful bike takes precedent over the tech and I would buy the all-black Tour DCT in a heartbeat. But as long as Honda keeps the junk GPS, I will not be motivated to upgrade.

I’m a relatively new rider . Got my first bike (a Harley Dyna Wide Glide) in August 2019. I like it but am looking for more comfort, a nicer, newer bike, that I can better share with my wife.
We’ve ordered the 2021 (red) DCT. If it weren’t for the fact we’re in the middle of the winter, I’d be calling the dealer about every day.

Why impress Harley riders?... because we are open to other ideas.

Trying to figure out is it wider? It looks kinda big compared to the rest of the bike. If I was buying a goldwing today I would buy the 2021, but color, bigger trunk, etc. Are not major changes to trade in my 2018. Good video, informative. 👍

Hi Amer, I’m agree with you, as you said you are happy with your 2020, and I’m very happy with my 2019 DCT, the only think I will need is meet with you for help me in up grade the navigation system to work with Android, until there Happy New Year and hope all this situation of this crazy Virus Pass

I wonder if due to the size was the reason for putting a different amgle on it? I know they upgraded the speakers to handle more power but they didnt say if they upgraded the oem amp to push out more power. I personally like my bike better and the trunk size. I also like my red and yellow brake and turn signals vs the new all red.

Hi Amer, I think Honda also added a xm antenna.
I wondering if the new top box fits on the 2018 model ? I suppose it would be very costly. I took a week long trip last fall, and the top box got pretty small. Have a good Amer .
