I'll wait for those who were chomping at the bit for this update to download theirs! The navigation update is what I'm interested in. I have a Galaxy S10 myself, but am currently using the Goldwing infotainment system as an audio hub. It's all working perfectly for me. I'm looking forward to your review of the navigation portion of the update.

I wish there was a Q&A section with this gentleman. Just bought a 2020 Gold Wing and having trouble with navigation. I'm not computer savy, but know if I could talk with Cruz man, he could help a lot.

Yup i was so ready to get the wing untill I recently learned they only supported Apple carplay.. and said they didnt know when they'd introduce Android to it. So I decide to back off getting it.. thanks to this video I'm pleased to say I'm now intrigued to getting it again :)

Finished up with the new Honda update which took about one hour. All went as smooth as silk, from the download to the USB to the install. Noted ion the final footnotes in the information section of the actual update screen the whole program is done by a German software engineer. Did not know that.

Update went smooth and easy with my bike. I was surprised that I didn't need to pair up my Sena 20S Evo headsets again after the update...with all the other updates I needed to pair the headsets after, but not this time...update is worth it and the Navi is better than before.

I uses the navigation system for the 2018 GL1800. I do not have any problems with the system. I use the Honda Trip Planner to create my route. To download it to the bike is no problem. I use the same thumb drive that I do the update to the motorcycle. I can't se anything new about the ETA Function. The black/white color for the map helps when in bright sunlight. Because the original colors is hard to make out the state and Farm to market road do to how they are on the screen. There are several roads around the Austin, TX area that the Speed Limit Signs are wrong.

Great for Android users. I needed a new phone so I got the 11Pro Max and love the Apple car play. I use the Honda map and my Garmin 595.

I-heart radio, Amazon music, my tuner, tune in radio, reminder.

This update come online yesterday afternoon, but was not uploadable to the motorcycle due to some glitch. The glitch was reported to Honda and the workable update (third try) was available at or soon after mid night EDLST. I have Apple phones now so I will wait until other find the problems.

And you have to have a Bluetooth headset paired before the Android Auto will activate - not sure why it needs this but it does. I do like the update to the Nav system and map.

Gee you American guys are lucky as you get all the updates at the earliest opportunity, here in Australia we are still waiting and we can't use the same file update as yours.

My '13 Wing allowed me to play my tunes through the speakers, and listen to the GPS, phone, and CB through the headset. Seems like Honda took a step back if I can't do that on my '18.

Some things I learned after struggling to get Android Auto to work
Samsung Galaxy Note10+
1) Disable Dex! There are a few Dex apps in the system apps list, so force close> purge cache>delete data>disable.
2) Unpair the Goldwing and turn off bluetooth.
3) Pair your headset to the goldwing and your phone will now be connected via hardwire essentially making your goldwing your electronics hub.

4) On AA app on phone, set to automatically add new cars.

I have mine set to use satellite view for a realistic view of my surroundings. The route is blue and all other roads are black

Be sure to use USB1 not USB2 to connect your phone. USB2 is the one in your left saddlebag for those that installed it.

Very Good presentation, bat my problem is to download from the computer (I'MAC) to the USB driver I did a few times bat, not a success and of course when I connected to the bike nothing up. So, any Tip can help one this one? Thank's
