It's nice for him to beautify his front yard that way. I'm sure his neighbors appreciate it. I know how much work it is, because I planted 800 daffodils in my yard one year (but mine didn't make the news, lol).

I planted 600 last week. Might add another 1000 next year. if you buy them right after thanksgiving Lowes usually has them 50%^ off or more.

I planted about 100 a few weeks ago (here in Australia as we are in winter now) I told my husband 100 is not enough, lol. I planted these for the sole purpose of making the people passing by smile!

It looks beautiful my neighbor has a house right on the lake she has several hundred right next to the water and in the water there are water lilies and swans it’s starting her entire garden. I naturalized some in my lawn and I did my neighbors across the street because we see his house even more than ours and I did the same at my parents house

Please usa and world plant crocus alliums for the solitary bees in spring and dont mow lawns till leaves on bulbs die back they will multiply more for the following years bees rarely go to daffodils for pollen if you support mother nature bees she supports you ❤
