There was a father who used to cosplay with his daughter as Peter B Parker and May Day. They were adorable and got millions of views. I personally never saw any creepy content and he never posted anything out side of cosplay involving her. The moment he saw some fan made instagram page he deleted everything and called those people out and said he is never going to post anything with his daughter. That’s what a responsible and loving parent does.

On TikTok, I reported a comment a man made on a teenage girls account saying "I'd love to SA you", and TikTok said they found zero issues with that comment or his account.

Get a job. I'm a single parent. I would never sell my child's image on the internet so i could be a stay at home parent. I have bent over backwards, sideways, upside down, and every other contorted direction to make sure i could provide for my child. I didn't have a good job when i had my kid. I worked my way up over the last decade to get a good job, and only now that I'm in my 30s is it starting to get marginally easier. But if you are so creatively bankrupt that you can't be a content creator without plastering your daughter all over the internet, encouraging creeps to gawk at a 4 year old, then you should have you internet privileges permanently revoked. Get a job that doesn't involve exploiting your child.

"A mother should be able to post their child on the internet." No, they should not. No one should be posting their children on the internet, predators about or not. Children can't comprehend the gravity of their pictures and information being posted for the whole world to see forever and can't consent to it. Violating your child's privacy is not okay.

I'm so damn happy I grew up before internet was a big thing, I'd be so uncomfortable and pissed if my childhood pictures were even on a friends only FB account or something.

This isn't just exploitation, this isn't even just abuse. In my opinion, this is the virtual trafficking of your own child. I don't know how she remains so willfully, confidently ignorant to us screaming it. Does the thought not eat away at her? Does she not have a pit in her stomach? Does she not gag at the sight of the comments? How. I'm not even a mother yet and I wish I could hold my future kids so close rn. She's.. so despicable.

i was like 12 years old wearing a tank top and jeans and there was this 30 something year old man looking at me and my mom got in his face and told him my age
i was 10 in the front seat of my dads car and a man was STARING at me and my dad screamed at him, threatening the guy and showing off the crowbar he had underneath his seat, the guy ran the red light

a not so fun fact i learned during child care training is that i believe it’s 60% of trafficked children are trafficked by their biological mothers, it’s unfortunately incredibly common. this may not be straight cut trafficking, but it’s definitely in the same realm.
