Russian State TV Propagandist Yells At Veteran Telling Truth About Invasion

A host on a state-run Russian TV channel berated a veteran who called for a moment of silence for Russian troops who had died in Ukraine, with the host claiming that Russia was winning and killing "fascists."

I speak russian. He is just asking to honor those dead solders. He is not saying anything critical of the government as our ministry of defence accepts there are some casualities. No idea why the presenter is yelling at him. Anyway nobody is watching that kind of channels except for 70+ year old ladies

Russians have many good people. And the veterans from the war against nazi Germany deserve to be honored. But this war is a mockery for everything they fought and died for. Every mother, who’s son comes back in a black bag cannot say, “he saved Russia from the Nazis” like they could in the 1940s. And the world owed them a debt for their sacrifice then. But to invoke the “fascist beast” in Ukraine and compare it to Germany 1941 is shameful. Anyone with a brain can see the difference yet they still sell this to the Russian people. And I wish Russians had the courage to say what they really think without going to prison or worse.
