I am not Korean and my non-Korean Virginian tonque doesnt appreciate Kimchi, but I do appreciate your appreciation for beloved Kimchi. Somehow makes me miss my late grandmother's homemade Bread & Butter pickles.

The only kimchee I have ever tasted came from a glass jar from the grocery store. I bet it can’t even compare with this labor of love. Must be truly delicious, clean and healthy. ❤️

Sorry for interrupting you, but as a Korean I can tell you that when if u store some food inside the '옹기', the brown jar made out of ceramic, I prefer u to put foods without plastic bag or vinyl. Because 옹기 is 'breathing' jar. There are lots of micro holes in 옹기 so the air can go through inside but not the viruses. So if u store or ferment things inside the 옹기, it become more delicious 😊 sry for my poor English.
