Right, so I managed to figure these out; I had to sacrifice one in the process. It has a tiny rod that is held within a metal cylinder. When G force it applied, it makes contact with the cylinder, which creates a circuit. If it rattles, then it doesn't quite make contact with the cylinder which creates the flicker; so it has to be screwed on tight onto the tyre valve. If you screw it on too tight, it shorts the circuit on the PCB. I solved this issue with a small piece of paper between the PCB and top battery, with the inner spring fed through the centre of the paper. If you find screwing it tight lets air out the valve, place a small conductive washer under the bottom button battery.

These are made of brittle low-quality dollar store equivalent plastic and also stick out farther than I’d like as they will break at a mere grazing. They look cool when they’re on & working but beware since they’re cheaply made air may still escape from your tires also. There is no air seal or gasket ring inside the base where the batteries go.

It's great and all but one problem is the battery life it won't last you 3 months

Oh man, these SUCK. They didnt glow up once so I finally threw them away. :( There are new models in now Im gonna try.

note to self: these are from dollarama and they suck so bad that they break if u hit them with a force of about 1.2 pounds

these products are 💩 and if you go to fast on a bicycle they'll pop your tires by ripping the valve stem clean off! Don't waste your money.
