R-73s are crazy. The MiG-29SMT has them for now, but their flare resistance is out of this world as of current. they actually prefer non afterburning planes over flares at the moment, and it shows! might need to bury their light deep within ))))

The wildest kill I got by far with an R73 was a tomcat, he passed in front of my nose at point blank, I locked and fired with HMD, it did an S-bend straight out of the rail and hit the tomcat as he was already behind me, as he flew away after shooting me down
