Manly Knives makes some great value fixed blade and folding knives. In this video I compare Manly Blaze and Crafter in D2 steel with black G10 handles and Kydex sheath.

The eagle takes a big greasy 💩 on both of these (imo)
The blaze is not a chopper at all. Even the larger blade) is under 10oz so isn't a chopper. They're cutting tools & VASTLY better at cutting than any other production knife of the same size on the market. No other company grinds their blades like manly, thin behind the edge & performance orientated.
Other companies fixed blades are overbuilt & thick behind the edge so they can call them "sUrViVaL kNiVeS"....
The only thing I would change about Manly knives is they kydex sheaths. They use very thin kydex, I would happily pay more for thicker kydex.

They've also moved to RWL34 for their stainless options.
Which I prefer to CPM154.

Take a look at the WANGER Drugar, which is originally designed and developed by german Dirk Wanger, the owner of the Online-Shop Messerundco and compare it with the "Crafter", which is offered now by Böker. Really sad, that an also german Company like Böker have to "scam" and make an almost perfect Knife worse (The Drugar Handle-Scales are screwed) instead of cooperate with the Inventor. LG

Chopping with a blade less than 7-8 inches, is like trying to make a Ferrari work on dirty mountain road. I mean, Blaze is not a chopper and never meant to be. in real user knives, linyards are more of trouble getting in the way, rather than a feature that helps. Don't fall into marketing Youtube video traps, where knives have to be more and more complicated, in order to sell! When it comes to knives, the simpler the design, the better the knife. Get the LT Wright Genesis for example, the Manly Patriot, the Becker BK 16 made by KA-BAR. They Survive knives GSO and so on. All the BEST user knives out there, are simple. A Lineard hole, is more of a selling point feature, than a real neccesity..in my opinion of course

Great value... arguable
In d2 it is very good
But cpm 154 is too expensive
Benchmade leuku vs manly in cpm154? It is same price.

Judging and even worse, choosing a knife by how it feels, is like jundging a book by it's cover. As user knife the Crafter has better handle design better blade length, better blade and edge geometry. Only advantage of the Blaze, is spliting wood...BUT is it an axe? nope... that and many many other reasons, make the crafter, the better choice for a belt user knife.
