My uncle killed my mother. Then my father tortured me until I left home so he could get my mother’s inheritance.
I was six. I had no home. I became a street kid and, like the others, I took drugs. There is nothing good about living on the street.

But for some there is hope. NGOs like SAMU Social are providing medical and psychosocial care and helping get the children off the streets.
