this isn't quick tip. It's a long hand-made process for the model with 20+facesets. Is there a way to automatize it somehow?

I just noticed the Face Maps today. How is it different from Vertex Maps? It seems like almost the same functionality. I was trying to use face selections in Vertex Paint, but they don't give us an assign button like Vertex and Face Maps have. I had to create a vertex map, and then use Vertex Color from Weight in the Paint menu. That worked, but a lot of extra steps. I got my logo colored white, and the background black so I can use that in my material without using an image or UV map, which is nice.

That's a great video. I have a little problem, I can't sculpt with facets when the dynotopo is on. What's the matter?

Good morning friends ! I have an important query ...

Suppose you have a folder with a thousand FBX files, there has to be something in the world to manage that .. to be able to see that gallery and be able to choose which model you load .. it may not be that you have to load one by one in a 3D program to see them and decide which one to use. I can't find anything ...

So this is like vertex groups, but for faces? Is this called poly groups in other software?

Question... At the beginning of the video shows a workflow where you paint the facesets and after releasing the brush and paint again it assigns a new face I'd but then you tweak it to match the previous face id, how do you do this?
