I had played wow on my uncles laptop during BC at like 7 years old, then got my first PC during cata so most of my nostalgia actually comes from cata and MoP. I’m heavily debating levelling a toon for cata classic hoping they’ll do panda land as well. I’m pretty sure I’m a huge outlier for enjoying these two expansions the most but I’m actually beyond hyped.

There is a tiny, precious game where you can not only play as Arthas, Ragnaros, Gul'Dan and Kael'thas but also as Deathwing! Yes I'm talking about the often scolded LoL competitor _Heroes of the Storm._ The games is now unfortunately in maintenance mode and doesn't get new content. But it's really well balanced (and still getting balance patches) that offers a gameplay outside of the often repetitive mechanics of LoL.
I would really wish @Necrit would take a look at the game!

I mean, to be fair, I do not remember Retail being half as good as it is right now ever MoP? Like, Legion wanted me to get lost because I started in the middle os Season 2 and had no AP to speak of. BFA was simply an insult to everyone who gives 2 dimes about the lore. Even tho Lor'Themar and Thalyssra's advantures did make it better. Shadowlands had a lot of promise, but also had way too many OBVIOUS problems they were refusing to fix. And now we got DF. A rebuilding expansion. Experience of all the previous expansions and mindset of the new, mixed with some of those vibes from previous expansions and some really amazing questing. Like, My GOD! Blue Dragonflight questline is absolutely GOATED. And Grandpa Senegos is THE character of the expansion for sure, oh and the callbacks to Cata legenderies? Perfection. All this makes me reasonably excited about WW, ngl

Man, I miss WoW. Especially how it used to be. My only regret is that I stuck around for far too long, when it was evident it was not getting any better, just consistently worse and worse.

Which sucks, because Warcraft has some of the best stories in all of fantasy, at least for me. That's what got me invested in WoW altogether. I loved this franchise, man. Now I'm just ashamed to ever admit that.
