to all of the younger fans of wwe wrestling. if it wasn't for this man named BRUNO SAMMARTINO, there would have NEVER been any wrestlemanias, Monday night raw, or any wwe shows. this man single handedly saved vince's fathers company by coming back to wrestle for him. if he didn't McMahon seniors company would have gone bankrupt.

That photo of Bruno, Andre and Verne Gagne basically sums up my childhood wrestling experience and why I became a fan.

He was born to be a champion. He fought tooth and nail to make it in wrestling and he is the only Living Legend. He will never be forgotten.

Without a questionable doubt Bruno Sammartino was the literal best in the world pertinent to Professional Wrestling. The Pittsburgh area and the New York area, Japan, Canada, and the World will have to deal with the heavy lost of Wrestling's Only True Legend particularly fans of the old and new Madison Square Garden. My condolences to Mrs. Sammartino, David, Darrell, and Danny. Bruno Sammartino was the literal best wrestling Champion of all time. And he did it with no drugs, just sheer brute determination, discipline, and Power. Bless you Bruno as you take your flight from labor to reward. We will miss you forever.

I have been a wrestling fan for close to 45 years. The first card I ever saw live was on April 30th 1977 at the Baltimore Civic Center. The main event that night pitted champion Bruno Sammartino against 'Superstar' Billy Graham. Unfortunately, that was the night that Bruno's second title reign came to an end. After the card, I sat in my parents' car and cried all the way home because I was always taught that, whether it be in sports, or in life in general, the good guys always won and that wasn't the case on that night. Bruno held himself with such poise and class, something terribly missing in society today. I'll always remember that night because when Bruno lost, a little part of me was lost. Now I have a son and grandson, and I am proud to say that they have also developed a love for this business, and I'd like to think that they wouldn't have that passion wrestling if not for my guidance, and I wouldn't have had the same fire and passion if not for 'The Living Legend', Bruno Sammartino. Rest well, sir. You have definitely earned it.

Bruni Sammartino was my dad's favorite wrestler. My father followed most of his career while in the north east. Bruno was and is deserving of the title 'The Living Legend.'

Bruno carried this company on his back for so many years. There might not be a WWE today if it wasn't for him.
