I was 14 years old and remember staying up to watch this! There was no sugar in my coffee or tea!

Mr. Cummings was and is an awesomely talented person. There's not much he can't do on stage and writing wise. Love the Guess Who and their many many hits. Great show tonight!!!

Burton Cummings (the Guess Who) had one of the best rock voices, but weirdly contrasting, on stage looked like he was part of Vegas lounge act. Love these posts of the Midnight Special!

I love you Midnight Special. I secretly stayed up to watch when I was 8 or 9 years old. Even though my folks didn’t listen to most of the music (think Carpenters and Johnny Mathis), I knew it was something awesome to behold. Rediscovering these amazing artists who performed LIVE leaves me in awe every time. What a treasure trove ☮️💜🎶

I always liked the Guess Who. I especially remember American Women and These Eyes. I love this live version of These Eyes with Burton on piano.

Wishbone Ash are always brilliant. A real treat to see them here.

Wishbone Ash is criminally under rated! They should have been huge in America...

Every time I see these Midnight Special video, I know I grew up in the best decade, before shit started to get crazy, but that was fun too back in the day!

Judi Pulver worked for many years at Variety magazine. Sadly, she passed away earlier this year. I still have my vinyl copy of her album.

Its Friday Night
Mom said nothing good comes after midnight
So I made it home

The Guess Who - Hand Me Down World. What a superb closing to end the show. Great night. Great line-up.

Fantastic. There's no hiding behind studio tricks and autotune/pitch control. The Guess Who and Slade just perform at another level here. Burton Cummings is a consumate pro.

The Guess Who should have been in the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame YEARS ago!
