Hey! I have two questions!

1: Do you think the extra weight will put too much stress on the joycons if they're attached? I'd hate for it to harm the rails or make them slip off easier.

2: How do you play on a flight if they tell you to put all your stuff on Airplane mode? Because joycons can't work detached with Airplane mode enabled. I keep seeing people do this and I'm thinking I'm missing something.

Thing is I don't have issues with my battery. I play a lot of video games, but it's very rare that I'll put the switch away due to a low battery, and when I do, I was about ready to stop playing anyway.

If I took my Switch on the go more often, or if I did a lot of traveling, and I was at a place in my life where I felt comfortable laughing around a 300$ console without being to precious about it, something like this would be a no brainer. 50$ might be a tad high (I don't think it is), but it's definitely in the zone of what I would feel comfortable paying. The only negative for me would be the form factor. I suspect that there will be many better looking options, with better looking stands and stuff, releasing within the next year. For (what I suspect will be) a brief period of time though, this thing seems pretty solid.

Most important thing I would look into for this pack is the battery itself. I noticed it said it was a Li-Po battery, which are quite light, but anyone who has played with modern RC vehicles knows they have a reasonably high risk of catching fire and sometimes exploding. This isn't saying they are rubbish...they power expensive drones and such...I would probably recommend not leaving it attached to the Switch when you're not using it...better to be safe then sorry!

I don't own one but another thing to mention as a bonus about using a case like this over portable chargers is that it essentially changes the position of the charge port. You can play in table top mode and easily have it plugged in without having to elevate the system with another stand in order to plug it into the wall or a portable battery bank. I think that's great.

50 bucks? dont waste it on this. Get a 30, 000 power bank for 60 bucks and you can run btow for about 10+ hours. it will fully charge your switch 5 times

I think the charging issues you experienced are related to the same reasons you don't charge a device on a battery bank while charging the battery bank since this device is basically a battery bank. The over charge/ over volt protection was kicking in.

I got myself that first Nyko battery pack replacement for the og cake 3DS way back and I haven't regretted it a single bit, I'll definitely look into this.

I wish nintendo would make a charge case that has controls that make it more beefier and more like the Wii u game pad with regular sticks and bigger buttons and when it's not plugged in it would be recognized as a pro controller.
