i drove by that place for years and never got to set foot inside to see it..i grew up in alhambra...grandad was on the S.P till 1976 when he retired..passed in 2009 at 95..thank you for the look inside..pretty neat layout...got to see the big boy and crawl all over it as a child..they moved it from pomona to be restored and that was my last look at it in person..wife and i moved to kansas in 2021..again thank you for the look inside..

I really appreciated the mix of lines and eras. Obviously, Rule One is the basic operating rule. Well done. Too often, as railway modelers, we get stuck with period or location accuracy, to say nothing of rivet-counting, and this was a refreshing look at a layout built by and for members to enjoy. Seeing the great lines and power of the past and present today was a real treat.
I loved the half-sized 4000 (Big Boy) on the long flat.
(I would suggest running the streamliners a little faster, though. They were the thoroughbreds of the railroads.)
