SCP-722 - Jörmungandr

SCP 722 is a Keter Class anomaly also known as Jörmungandr.

SCP-722 is by all accounts a terrestrial serpent, of incredible size, length, and girth, coiled through a series of tunnels of unknown origin.
SCP722 is clearly in a state of prolonged slumber, and many parts of the creature's body have become embedded in the glacier, possibly due to cave-ins or parts of the ice re-forming over many years.
SCP-722's skin seems to secrete a potent toxin which has currently eluded all attempts at identification. Symptoms seem largely random on a case by case basis, but the end result is invariably death.

Truly a once in a month video. It is well written, has an original anomaly, a mystery that is slowly explained throughout the video, an element of dread and an ominous conclusion. The toxin must be the same poison from Norse mythology. It is said that Thor and the world serpent are supposed do fight to the death. Thor emerges victoriously but after walking 9 paces he will die. This toxin must really be something

There is a bit of extra horror to this not noted here, or rather glossed over. It's noted that it seemingly might share ancestry with, or be the progenitor of Komodo Dragons. Namely, it might be a natural, terrestrial creature. That in itself implies that it thus might not be the only one of its kind, like say SCP-169 is. There may be many more SCP-722s, and they may be slumbering much the same, and if that is the case, but oh for how long will they remain asleep before they awaken, and perhaps not Jormungandr, but rather its thousands of children are unleashed upon the world to bring about Ragnarok?

In Norse mythology, Jörmungandr, also known as the Midgard Serpent or World Serpent, is an unfathomably large sea serpent or worm who dwells in the world sea, encircling the Earth and biting his own tail, an example of an ouroboros. As a result of it surrounding Midgard it is referred to as the World Serpent. When it releases its tail, Ragnarök will begin.

Jörmungandr is said to be the middle child of the trickster god Loki and the giantess Angrboða. According to the Prose Edda, Odin took Loki's three children by Angrboða – the wolf Fenrir, the goddess Hel, and the serpent Jörmungandr – and removed them from Asgard. The serpent Jörmungandr was tossed into the great ocean that encircles Midgard. There the serpent grew so large that it was able to surround the Earth and grasp its own tail. The old Norse thunder-god, Thor, has an on-going feud with Jörmungandr in their epics and the two can be seen as archfoes. During Ragnarök, Thor and Jörmungandr will fight each other to the death.

There's a far worse anamalous serpent: the Tiamat-Class object SCP-6004 aka. The Rainbowsnake.

You should check it out. In my opinion is this SCP also far beyond OP.
