🛫 Pilot Catastrophe Services ↙️ Claims Adjuster Training (Here’s What Happened)

📛"How Do You Get Training or Experience?" Have you asked yourself this question? If you want the answer - watch this video. 🎥 In this video, I run through what Pilot Catastrophe Services suggests new adjusters do for training and to gain experience. I personally have learned a lot from taking classes and training at Pilot! This company really does train their adjusters. Plus, they are the exclusive providers of the NFIP Mentor Program.

The team at Pilot is very knowledgeable and the company is one of, if not, the largest IA firm. Allstate is their largest client but they also manage claims for others including USAA.
All Pilot training takes place in Mobile, AL. There are multiple buildings so be sure you arrive at the right one when you go for training.

This is just a small snippet of my experience. Depending on the path you take your experience will differ.

Thank you! I live in Mobile, AL and am about to start my prelicense training with hopes of eventually getting hired on by Pilot. I've watched 5 of your videos so far and I feel confident that this is the career path for me.

I passed my All Lines for AL the Friday before Ida hit. I started watching your video for insight before I started my classes. Now I am looking for your videos on part1 & 2 of xactimate so I can be better prepared for Pilot, by the way already have my # because I worked car for them previously.

Contents are paid by the flood adjuster when the damage is caused by a flood. Flood policies include building and contents.

I want to thank you for your videos. Very informative. I just attained my licence in Florida and I'm looking to transition into this career. I might try auto because I have experience with Audatex doing the job I have now.

First want Thank you for all the information you put out there for new people like me! You mentioned a video where you break down the percentage of how pay works. Where can I find that video? Again thank you so much!

So first, "what everyone wants to know...the money...let's talk about the money...show me the money" - and then all I heard was $25 (auto) to $38 per hour. How many hours in the average Pilot adjuster year? How much in taxes taken out? How much are average expenses? What does the average Pilot adjuster make (take home)? Many questions unanswered.

Hello, Thank you for doing these videos. I received my Texas all line licensing about a 2 months ago. I have registered with pilot and have taken the video orientation and now I’m waiting to hear something. I have Taken your suggestions on other licenses. My question Is do you have any suggestions on resumes for those with little insurance background?

Hi Ebahi. Hope all is well with you. I just had my Orientation with Worley Catastrophe for a Customer Service Rep & was told we are contractors and we will be helping the adjusters. We can be called anytime but in the meantime, we are required to take the State Farm courses and was highly encouraged also to explore the wonderful world of Claims Adjusting. I am not one that is interested in climbing roofs & my recruiter said I do not have to. I need some clarification on that. How can one do a claim for a property, without climbing a roof? Would I know beforehand, if the damages are just on the house itself, therefore no need to climb the roof or crawl on attics? We were informed that Field is where the money, however, I am okay by being just an Inside Adjuster. Just curious, is there a huge difference in pay?

Hello Ebahi, It has been a couple of years since you made this video. I am today looking to become a catastrophic insurance adjuster. Would you still recommend Pilot. I notice some IA are independent. What are your thoughts? Thank you.

Your first example of getting paid $6, 000 on a claim is misleading the average claim is about $350.00

My husband and I would like to be adjusters working together as a team. He has a ton of experience in construction and experience estimating. Where do we start. There is so much confusing information. I am bilingual and we are open to traveling. How do I start.

Hi, it is me again. Sorry...I have another question. If I am with Worley Catastrophe, am I able to take courses thru Pilot Catastrophe or does Worley have the same stuff? I am looking at the stuff on my portal & all I can see are the high overview of different stuff I need to take to be a Cust Service rep.

Do you need money to begin this job? Like with the tools you mentioned, do you need to have $3k before beginning this job because you have to purchase all the tools?
