I was a preteen living 50 miles from Elvis' birthplace, Tupelo, Ms. In 1957 and absolutely in love with Elvis!!! Saw him at Tupelo fair and almost passed out!!! Have lived in Memphis all my adult life and have been blessed to have seen the most handsome and best entertainer ever several times! Mom was kissed by him twice. At 14 he picked her out of a crowd and again when she was 32. She passed st 52. I just turned 52 and could not imagine knowing that this would be it. Thankfully she had some fun stories to tell us to share with our grandkids

My mom was 1 and my dad was 4. I want even a thought until 1975. I just grew up listening to and LOVING Elvis! My very first favorite song was Hound Dog. The song he performed on LIVE TV that changed the WORLD of music. Thank you, for this. Love you! ❤️

I love how he says it’s a music video. 😂 I guess it could be considered that but it’s a clip from his movie of the same name. My parents were toddlers when this came out but my mom had met Elvis in the 70s and was always a fan so I was raised watching all his movies and listening to his music. I still love his music today.

In 1957, my mom was 2 and my dad was 3 hehe When I saw Elvis for the first time, it was on a commercial where they were promoting this dvd of his live performances (can't remember what it's called) and I thought, "Holy moly he's gorgeous!!!!" 😍😍 No wonder he was so famous! And this performance was something that proved he was immensely talented as well. This is actually the first time I've seen the whole performance 'cause I've only seen clips of Elvis performing his songs, some of which didn't include him moving his legs like that!! 😲 He killed it 👏👏👏

I wasn't born when this came out. My first look at Elvis was age 4 during the 68 special. It was love at first sight. I have since seen all his movies and enjoyed a discovery of incredible music. I'd recommend any song from king creole and anything from his 68 special or Vegas performances. Of course we can't leave out Aloha From Hawaii
