To clarify for everyone.. THIS is the original by Jason.. then he had to take out bittersweet symphony as ordered NOT by the verve but by the Rolling Stones! They never ever clear samples of their songs to anyone since the Verve lawsuit. So it wasn’t the verve! I heard Richard Ashcroft didn’t even mind when this was brought up to him as he thought it would let newer younger listeners hear bittersweet symphony aswell!!

YouTube is the closest Time Machine we have. The songs in 09 hold so much memories. I was in 6th grade at the time. Now I’m 25 just sad and happy that this song hits just the same when I first heard it.. this is the only version i know with the violin hook. Man I remember when my sister had this version burnt onto her CD and I heard it. I was OBSESSED with Bittersweet Symphony and Jason Derulo so this was my fucking jam back then lolol. He made this version without getting permission from The Verve which is why he had to redo it. You would THINK he would have learned because over a decade later, he pulled the same shit with using Savage Love without getting permission from Jawsh 685. He probably thought he could get away with it since Jawsh 685 was just a New Zealand high school student.

He was right, this is very good use of ''Bitter Sweet Symphony'' sample tho I didn't know Rolling Stones came up with those violins originally.
