Amazon CloudWatch Application Insights automates the setup of enterprise application monitoring through an easy to follow wizard-like experience.

It identifies and sets up key metrics, logs, and alarms across your application resources and technology stack. Additionally, it creates automated dashboards for detected problems that include metric anomalies, log errors, and additional problem insights. Once setup, CloudWatch Application Insights continuously monitors these metrics, telemetry and logs to detect and correlate anomalies and errors. Thus allowing you to determine a potential root cause for your issues so you can take remedial actions to keep your applications healthy. You can even automate the creation of Opsitems in Systems Manager to quickly initiate runbooks for resolving issues.

I've set this up via a cloudformation template for a resource group containing lambda functions.

It seems to have worked, but I've found that the alarms that are auto generated, require 2 datapoints to alert instead of one. Just wondering if anyone else has run into this and if there is a way to solve it via the cloudformation template?
