Siem is my favourite violinist because of the way he interprets pieces but watching him play always makes my neck and shoulders twinge in sympathy.

What captivates me in this performance is an extremely emotional approach to every piece of music. I have the impression that other violinists focus more on recreating the technical aspects of musical works, and not their emotional values, although I think violin music is probably the best medium for expressing emotions

Besides the usual perfect execution I realized you wears a lot of blues. My favourite colour as well. You must come to Germany soon, bitte.🙏👏👏👏

It was lovely. I am so glad I was able to find your channel. I hope you might do a collaboration and appear on a video with twoset violin. They have a huge fanbase and hopefully you might get more exposure to casual listeners like myself.

When do we get a Bach album? I heartily enjoy all of the videos of you playing JSB. Also, concerts on the west coast of the US?

The character sounds 'wrong' to me. It's supposed to be a slow dance, but ends up sounding exactly like you might play the first adagio movement. The articulation is inconsistent, too. Some eighth notes get space and others don't, but it doesn't make sense. Many times, the last eighth note of a beat ends up sounding too long.
