Nordisk Tent - Oppland 2 - Review & How To

In this video I will show you the tent from Nordisk, which is called Oppland 2 SI.

The "SI" is the version with silicon-protection on the outer tent fabric.

I will give you my review and tell you about the various features and specs, as well as my own experiences and opinions about the tent after now having used it for over 3 years in all kinds of weather.

The tent is a 2-person tent, with plenty of space for 2 people.

It has a water pressure resistance in the outer tent of 3000 mm, which may not sound like much, but I have used the tent in very heavy rain, and I have never experienced a wind through the tent fabric.

The bottom of the inner tent has a water pressure resistance of 10,000 mm, which, together with the footprint I always use with the tent, gives enough protection against water from below.

Thanks for this great review ! I 'm almost going to buy it but still considering 2 other options ( they are too many possibilities ! ) What do you think about the new version 2.0 ? seems bigger and with more option about openings ? and also what about the Original version that is not SI ? thank you in advance !

hi!! I'm looking to buy this tent, but currently I have one of these self inflatable mattresses of 1, 30 by 2, 00 (I think), do you think it will fit? I see it has a narrower side, so it's a bit unclear to me. Thanks!

It looks as if the outer tent touches the inner tent in wet or cold wheatear conditions. Is that the case in your experience? This is also my experience with the Svalbard SI model. I don't like it when the inner tent get's whet.
