New Balance 480s were released in 1983 and Nike Dunks were released in 1985

Have a look at the Reebok Club C! I switched to a club c revenge after wearing my 480’s for about 6 months, and the quality and comfort is far superior for usually a cheaper price as Reeboks aren’t as popular. The classic leather is also worth a shout too!

Can you guys check out the 480 Numeric? It's their skateboarding version that supposedly has beefed up construction with a fuel cell midsole. Essentially like a Nike SB version of the 480. Would fall in line well with the skateboarding series on the channel.

Having had both I find the new balance 480s much more comfortable than the dunks. I found they moved with my foot more where the dunks were quite rigid. It really felt like I was wearing the dunks where the 480s feel more natural. The 480s flexed more in the toe box contouring my foot more, where the dunks felt rigid. Additionally the toebox of the 480s feel wider to me than the dunks, so it was surprising to hear you thought the toe box of the dunks were slightly larger. Good review, happy to know more about whats on my feet. Thanks!

The 480 came out before the dunk. And the sb dunk is the best one and the numeric 480 is the best both better durability, materials, tech, & collabs with better detaild and quality ive bought like 4 recent numeric 480 collabs. But yea numeric, sb, & adv(Adidas skate line) The skateboarding versions of there shoes to the non skate versions are much better than their counterparts.

Not sure if they were New Balance or Nikes, but I saw a lot of people wearing these when I traveled to Japan last year. Couples were wearing matching black and white sneakers. It really stood out to me because most people wore entirely black dress shoes or black Doc Marten type shoes. They were the only sneakers I saw.

Very interested in those leather shoe insoles. Finally a product offered that is practical and useful to the masses. If they are ever $10 or less a pair on a sale that's golden or is that too much to ask for?

I don't know why, but I've been drawn to New Balance for the past 15 years, but especially the last 5-6. I own 7 pairs. I used to wear the 90s dad looking ones at first just cause no one was doing that 15-16 years ago, and i liked them l, but more recently they've been all flat soles except for the older 420s I got from a friend like 13 years ago. I just love the patterns and their colorways. Buy New Balance today! I don't remember the point of this comment. I own way too many pairs of shoes and jeans... I could probably give 25 people a pair of shoes and raw denim and take a t-shirt while yr at it. I have addictive tendencies. Lol

@RoseAnvil you should look at the differences between the Nike SB dunk and New Balance Numeric 480, they're the skating versions of these two shoes, they are both different but also similar. Would be a good follow up video.

Vans lowland are very similar to both of these and look pretty sick. I’d be curious to see the comparison of those since vans usually gets pretty good reviews.
