This is the process for the N249 delete on the BAM engine. Very similar to other variants, but the SAI has to be considered on others. I always use 3mm silicone vac line, even though the n249 uses 4mm, as 3mm fits nice and snug, and ensures it wont pop off. The Diverter valve fitting is 4mm, but don't worry, it will still accept 3mm line on it.

If you blow up your engine, then you've done something horribly wrong! it should go without saying, but if you do destroy your car, it's not my fault!

So would doing this simple n249 delete confirm whether I have a faulty divert control valve? When I accelerate hard the car stutters and dumps boost. N75 tested OK as did mechanical DV and no vacuum pipe leaks.

Hey, what resistor would go in there? Can you share your solution please! I want to do the delete, but ha e no idea about resistors and I do not want another CEL... thank you🙏!

Hello sir. I've been experiencing the issue that MAF fails... I have aliexpress BOV. The stock one melted somehow and I needed to change it for sometime.. It's the second time that maf failed. First one was because the inlet pipes were leaking after I change that it was OK. now I bought Splitter valve from Forge and I'm wondering will that fail again if I use it as a BOV? Do I have to use it as a recirculation valve? my car is 2004 audi tt mk1 225hp stage 1 mapped, downpipe, muffler delete, r8 coils, iridium spark plugs, KN Air filter, k04 Hybrid turbo... What are your suggestions? How can I deal with this MAF failure.. and also do you Suggest Race type of N75 valve to this car with those mods? Thank you.

hi bryn, could you explain me which of the pipes of manifold goes to fpr and which to the dv? Im afraid mine are swapped. Thx

On the APX there is two small vacuum tubes. One goes to drivers side of inlet manifold. The second goes to electrical connection on passenger side on dipstick plate. What do I connect this too ?

Bryn, what is connector I need for the N249 as you showed something we need to plug in to so the N249 thinks it is still working if we haven't got a VAC-COM to delete it with?

done it and get a nice flutter ! just making sure this is normal and not something else broken, also my intercooler exploded after but i recon i removed a boost leak and it just boost enough for a 20year old component to give up

Hi there. I have a question about this delete process.
The system has three hoses. Two you mentioned. But there is another one that conects to the system at the bottom. Do I just plug it?

So I'm getting the Cloude 9 catch can fitted and PCV deleted which I've been told is the breather system... I also have vac lines leaking causing boost issues, which other vac lines are there??

I have two vacuum lines to the n249 instead of one. It goes down to a she does in front under the cover. What do I do with the second hose?

Hi mate. One of the guys on the TT FB group sent me here. Will be doing this tomorrow. So I just run some 3mm from diverter valve to the nipple on the intake? And that’s it really? I can get the engine light coded out don’t need resister

Can I perform an N249 delete on the mk1 1.8 180ps FWD? As my tiny engine has a different set up to the 9ne shown, cheers.

Greetings . I see in your model with the green silicone hosing for reroute you left the solenoid plugged in rather then deleting all together and adding a resistor . By leaving the Solenoid plugged in but deleting the vac lines and rerouting ... does the CEL stay off ? Cheers

Does it matter which nipple it goes onto as there are two lines ? One to the diverted valve and one to the fuel pressure regulator. I think on my engine they're on the right too ?
