Installing sheet vinyl in kitchen

I spent today looking like a fool as I flipped the entire sheet over and drew out the exact dimensions for it to lay perfectly down in the kitchen and it was absolutely perfect 1/4 round not even needed. The problem is I didn’t reverse the image so the sheet was a$$ up and I was a$$ out $227 bones. Shoot, gosh dern he makes it look easy.

The best Vinyl flooring is felt-backed, it is commercially rated usually anti-slip, and is far stronger than foam-backed vinyl as in this video. My experience is 45 years in this Trade. I would have taken the kickboards (usually they are clipped on ) off the units instead of cutting up to them as over the years they will bend away from the cut, leaving excess material you won't see a gap. I can't see any double-sided tape in the vid, which is most important to the installation and cutting in? Felt back only requires either a carpet spray glue or an acrylic adhesive either around the perimeter or a full stick down! Also in order not to struggle with the material ( instead of like the guy in the video fighting it like a bear)I would make a cutting plan allowing at least a 100mm all around! Hope this helps? Funny how in Yemen, linoleum flooring is so common and affordable im houses but of course we have low quality. Yemenies prefer to change my linoleum to ceramic because ceramic title is associated with status.

The quality of linoleum in my kitchen in my US apartment is but better exactly like thie video. Easy installation and easy to clean. I went back to preferring this over ceramic.
